Allie is talking to her subordinate about the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on everyday life.

  • Allie : Is there anyone who has extra masks (and is willing to give me one)?
  • Kei : Here you go.
  • Allie : Thank you. There are no available masks.
  • Kei : Yes, our everyday life is totally changed. I got used to washing my hands and gargle when I get home.
  • Allie : By the way, did you know what happened to the person in charge of our project in Fuji Foods (It is one of their clients.)?
  • Kei : No, did something bad happen to him?
  • Allie : He will be fired soon. That company is planning to have a huge lay off.
  • Kei : Sigh...he is a little careless but still he works hard.
  • Allie : Due to COVID-19 many companies can't continue their businesses normally. Unfortunately, this means that many people will become unemployed if the situation keeps getting worse.
