It is a proverb and it means "seeing is believing". It is used to say that what you see once is more important than what you hear many times.
- Ken : There are so many watches that I like, but these two are the most interesting for me.
- Leo : Both look cool. Then which are you going to buy?
- Ken : I'm still thinking of it. The more I read the customer reviews, the more I'm confused.
- Leo : I guess seeing is believing. Why don't you go to a brick-and-mortar store near the station?
-
- Amy : Have you met a new hire working on the 5th floor yet? He is so hot.
- Meg : No. I often go there but I've never found a handsome guy. I don't think that the guy is as good looking as everyone says.
- Amy : I can't quite figure out what it is, but there is something about him that I like. I can't explain it. Oh, I have his photo!
- Meg : Let me see....wow, he is actually charming. A picture is worth a thousand words.
